Reverence Invites Revelation

Here is a great talk by Pres. Boyd K. Packer.

What is the first thing Pres. Packer says that a military will do to conquer their enemy? What does he say the adversary does in our lives to accomplish the same purpose?

Go to 1 Nephi 17:45, what does it mean to not be able to "feel his words?" What can you do in your life to be able to "feel his words?"

  1. It is interesting in Helaman 10:3, that twice it is mentioned that “as he was thus pondering…” then revelation came. The adversary would have us so busy and w/ so much loudness and irreverence around us that we have no thought or time to ponder. Joseph Smith pondered which church was true and this led to revelation. Pondering precedes many revelations.
